Press Release to the Maldiven & Sri Lankan Market on 17th September 2025

My visit to Lily Beach Spa Resort in the Maldives was about much more than motivating the 350-strong staff team. We provide training for all staff members, from management to the operational team, to help them develop a conscious mindset and enhance their awareness of service excellence and communication skills.

My role as Consultant in Learning & Development at Lily Beach goes far beyond simply providing high-end hospitality and Butler training. I am proud to bring the Hotel Butler Academy's first-class education to the Maldives, sharing my expertise and vision, and introducing how to lead the Art of Hospitality. Hotel Butler Academy training concepts draws inspiration from the mindset of butlers to provide personalised luxury service. Our training is applicable to all members of the hotel staff, with a particular focus on those working in front-of-house roles. We recommend that all team members working behind a screen should be included in the process.  After completing the extensive Service Excellence training programme, which lasts three weeks, I will leave end of this week this prestigious resort to move on to my next destination in the Maldives.

In August 2025, the property was visited by Michelin-starred Chef Mr. Igles Corelli, a visionary figure in the world of fine dining who has elevated the gastronomic experience. I am very proud to have worked with the Senior Management team at Lily Beach Spa Resort and their loyal employees. I would especially like to thank the leader of this property, Mr Laurent Driole, who has led his team as General Manager.
